Our History

The Center was founded by Dr. Jim in May of 1987. It started at Orange Coast College and then moved to Mesa Verde Dr. East where the Center held services for twenty years. As the congregation grew the Center moved its Sunday services to the Costa Mesa Senior Center in April of 2006. The Center has a large and effective Teen Group and sends 25 to 35 teens each year to summer and winter retreats.

The Center’s music program is known throughout the nation and has featured many wonderful performers including Academy Award Winner Paul Williams and many others. Dr. Jim is known for his down-to-earth messages that help each find their way and build lives with love, peace and joy.
