Walk to Defeat ALS (October 17,2009)

It will be one year since our beloved friend Patti Parillo made her transition after her 6 year battle with Lou Gehrig's disease. This crippling disease can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease yet it still costs loved ones an average of $200,000 a year to provide the care ALS patients need. Every 90 minutes, an American dies of ALS. Time isn’t on the side of those afflicted. You can help make a difference by donating or joining a walk today.

Walk with the Patti's Angels team on October 17 to continue the fight for a cure or if you cannot walk, donations can be made online at www.alsa.org. First, type in the words Irvine California and then the team name “Patti's Angels.”
