A prolific writer, Fox has authored some 30 books, including One River, Many Wells; Original Blessing; Creativity; Creation Spirituality; The Coming of the Cosmic Christ; Christian Mystics: Reading and Meditations; The Hidden Spirituality of Men; and his new book, The Pope’s War. Fox, who holds master’s degrees in philosophy and theology from Aquinas Institute and a doctorate in the history and theology of spirituality from the Institut Catholique de Paris, was a member of the Dominican Order for 34 years.

A liberation theologian and progressive visionary, Fox was silenced by the Vatican in 1988 and later dismissed from the Dominican Order.
